There is a mood in the air like we don’t know what’s next. Many well-reported future forecasts and climate goals project to the year 2030, but few go beyond. 

2030 is only five years away. When did the future get so close?

Have our attention spans compressed so severely that our sense of foresight has too? Has the internet forced us to live in the immediate, but not in the present? Have we uploaded our thoughts and prayers to platforms? Will we succumb to an AI-generated, imagination-free future, which can only be trained on the past?

Have we forsaken the future? 
And with it, have we lost a vision of our future selves?

This is a simple activation: a letter to your future self, in a sealed, self-addressed envelope, which will be mailed to you in 2030.

It’s a chance to share with your future self your current state of mind.
